To say the least, this has been a long, challenging winter. So far, the coldest Milwaukee winter in 32 years. For those of us still embarking on winter riding and commuting-- studded tires, multiple layers and balaclavas have gone from a good idea, to practically daily riding essentials. With blizzard-like conditions hitting the city today, we want to remind everyone that spring can't be too far off, and warmer days will inevitably arrive; outdoor t-shirt and jersey riding is just around the corner.

Whoa! One of our loyal customers and friend of the shop, who works at Specialized Bicycles, recently put together a new Milwaukee Bicycle Co. Orange One for himself and was kind enough to send over a photo of his completed project.

Team Velocause not only rides and races their bicycles in events all over the state, but they also donate their time and money to non-profit organizations across the community. As seen in the photo above their recent endeavor was painting at the Penfield Children Center. Their mission is unlike any other cycling team, so be watchful of these guys on and off the race track! Ben's Cycle and Milwaukee Bicycle Co. is also a proud sponsor of this very passionate group of Masters bicycle racers.
